My office is dedicated to helping every businessperson in this district, and in Phoenix, add one more employee to their business. I recognize that it is a trying time for most residents, but by working together to streamline processes and make Phoenix the best place to do business and to live.
In 2009, Vice Mayor Simplot and I sat on the Development Services ad hoc Committee. This committee brainstormed ideas and innovations that can expand adaptive re-use, extend permits, and allows alternative certification. In December, the City Council approved the committee's suggestions to streamline business services. An outline of these suggestions can be found HERE.
