Private and corporate pilots have new amenities available at Phoenix Goodyear Airport. Lux Air (623-932-1200) has opened a new facility at Phoenix-Goodyear Airport. Learn more about fixed based operators by viewing this video.

Lux Air brings a wide variety of services to the pilots of private planes and corporate jets in its new “mini-terminal” at Goodyear. Its primary service is aircraft fueling. Other services include a lounge, weather equipment, courtesy car service, phones and computer access for pilots. There is even a 56-inch, wide-screen television with theater-style seating in the lounge.

Located in the main terminal building at Phoenix-Goodyear Airport, Lux Air also has a pilot shop that carries navigational charts, books, shirts, hats, headsets and other items specific to the needs of pilots.

The opening of the new “Fixed Base Operator” will provide another facility in the West Valley for owners/operators of private aircraft. “Lux Air will provide increased customer service to private pilots and business customers flying corporate aircraft and jets into Goodyear,” said Barney Helmick, Manager of Phoenix-Goodyear Airport. “With the recent high economic growth rate in the West Valley, bringing a business like this to Goodyear makes a lot of sense.”
